1. Who we are

Dynasty Bot ("the Bot", "we") is a Discord application for running online College Football dynasty leagues. It is operated by BUILD Labs LLC.

2. What we collect, and why

2.1 Information from Discord

We do not collect email addresses, phone numbers, or postal addresses from Discord. There is no such field in our production database.

2.2 League content you and your commissioners provide

2.3 Message content — stated plainly

The Bot uses Discord's privileged Message Content intent and reads the text of messages in channels where it operates. It does this to accept pasted schedules and score reports. Message text is processed, and in some paths stored.

We do not maintain a general archive of your conversations, and we do not read messages in channels the Bot has no purpose in. But if you do not want message text processed, do not paste league data into a channel the Bot runs in.

2.4 Artificial-intelligence processing — a third-party disclosure

Weekly league recaps ("the Chronicle") and other editorial text are written using large-language-model providers. League facts — coach mentions, team names, records, and game scores — are transmitted to DeepSeek and, as a fallback, OpenAI in order to generate that text.

In plain terms: if you coach in a league running the Chronicle, your team's results and your league standing are sent to a third-party AI provider to produce the recap. Their handling of that API traffic is governed by their own terms, which we encourage you to review. We do not use your league data to train any model of our own.

2.5 Payment information

Premium league access is processed by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers, CVCs, or full billing details. We store only what Stripe returns so a league's entitlement stays correct: a Stripe customer and subscription identifier, subscription status, and the amount paid. Stripe's own privacy policy governs card data.

2.6 Operational records

3. How we use it

To operate your league: create matchup channels, collect and display scores, compute standings, generate recaps, run the postseason, and support you when something breaks. To keep leagues isolated from one another. To take and manage payment for premium. To detect abuse and keep the service working.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising. We share it only with the processors named above — Stripe for payment, DeepSeek and OpenAI for text generation, and our hosting providers for infrastructure — or where the law requires.

4. Retention

League history — schedules, results, standings and champions — is retained for the life of the league, so that seasons, records and rivalries carry forward as the Bot is designed to do.

Your Discord account identifiers are retained while you are mapped to a team in a league. If you ask us to remove them, we will delete the association within 30 days of verifying the request and tell you exactly what was removed and what was retained. Published league history (results and standings already shared with other members) may remain in aggregate, without your account attached to it.

5. Your choices and rights

Contact support@dynastybot.us for any of the above.

6. Security

Data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database. Access is restricted to the operator, credentials are not shared, and data is transmitted over TLS. We do not store payment card data at all — Stripe does, under its own controls.

7. Children

The Bot is not directed at children under 13, or the minimum age in your jurisdiction, per Discord's Terms of Service.

8. Changes

We will update this policy when what we collect changes, and note the date at the top. Material changes will be announced in the support server.
